BAT REX 500

Balanced Audio Technology’s REX 500 is their best amplifier yet. It certainly looks the part, as the massive chassis of the unit dwarves other models and is a good indicator of the incredible power this amplifier provides. As with all BAT products though, it’s not just about the power here. The REX 500’s dual independent monoblock design, its use of only two gain stages, and — true to the company name — truly balanced circuitry combine to bring incredible clarity. The REX 500 is available in the usual colors of silver or black, and adds something new to the company’s iconic look with these customizable inserts on the cover. These come in 4 colors, with the two classic shades being joined by gold and red options which add a touch of character to the unmistakeable BAT design.
